Beverly named this slow tempo blues after her guitar, "Red Mama". This is another selection from the show in Hartwell, Ga. at the High Cotton Music Hall. This is the only show she did at this venue. They tried to get back there with her but time just ran out. Beverly Watkins, Rick Fowler - gtr, vocals, Michael Doke - slide, vocals, Deane Quinter - drums, John Straw (filling in for Greg Veale) - bass, Tim White - Hammond.
Jimmy Sanders, general manager of WUGA, Athens, Ga. recorded audio for a WUGA broadcast. I mixed his version with a little bit of my camera audio for this video. Thank you to all involved.
