Australian pioneering Rock and Roll artist Col Joye recorded the song "Heaven Is My Woman's Love" in 1973, released on his own record company label ATK records. It was released as a 45 rpm single with "Happy Days" on the B side (ATAK - 5106). The song was written by US country music songwriter Sharon K Dobbins, the song first recorded by Tommy Overstreet and released on an album of the same name in 1972.

Col Joye passed away yesterday 5th August 2025 aged 88. Born Colin Jacobsen, he was one of Australia's Rock and Roll stars having a string of hits in the 1950's and 1960's along with his band Col Joye and The Joy Boys. He was also a regular on the 1960's television show Bandstand. Col Joye also first noticed the Gibb brothers from the band The Bee Gees playing on the Gold Coast in Australia and signed them to his Label Joye Music. Col Joye would also assist the band to get their first record contract with Festival Records. The Bee Gees would go on to international stardom.

Col Joye once noted in an interview that it was Australian country music pioneer Buddy Williams who first inspired him to get interested in music after attending one of Buddy's shows. Col Joye, a pioneer in the Australian music industry will be sadly missed, RIP Col Joye.
