🎹 In this video, I try out my new Gibran Alcocer Chords Generator web app — a little tool I built to make four-chord progressions in the ii–IV–vi–V style. It’s based on a “4-chord formula” I came up with after analyzing some of Gibran Alcocer’s Idea pieces (Idea 10, Idea 15, Idea 22).

The app can generate these progressions in any major key, and I give a quick demo of how it works while playing a bit of piano along with it. It’s meant to capture that dreamy, unresolved vibe by skipping the I chord entirely.
