Hey dee ho educational services have used Auslan Signs in the music program since 2002. We do not teach the Auslan language. We use Auslan signs in a key word manner during the performance of our songs. Signing helps develop fine and gross motor skills, coordination and supports language development. Singing and signing offers children an opportunity to practise Auslan signs as opposed to learning the language.
