(THIS IS MY PERSONAL TRIBUTE TO THE ONE, AND ONLY PETER ROBBINS. HE WAS THE ORIGINAL VOICE ACTOR FOR CHARLIE BROWN, AND ALSO A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE. I THOUGHT THAT THIS WOULD BE A PERFECT SONG FOR THIS TRIBUTE VIDEO. PLUS, IT ALSO HAPPENS TO BE ONE OF MY TOP TEN FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL-TIME! I THINK THAT IT'S VERY FITTING IN THE WORLD OF "PEANUTS", AND OF COURSE TO PETER AS WELL. IT'S SAD THAT HE'S GONE, BUT, I KNOW HE'S WATCHING THE "PEANUTS" SPECIALS, INCLUDING THIS VIDEO WITH US IN SPIRIT. REST IN PEACE, PETER ROBBINS.....)

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you..... The Peanuts gang performing "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor! Yes, you read the above description correctly. Peter Robbins was indeed a friend of mine on Facebook. He would react and comment on my posts, we would chat with each other on Messenger, etc. I had hoped to meet him in-person at an event one day. Unfortunately, that's no longer a possibility. So, you can all imagine how devastated I was when I heard of his passing. Like other late, but great celebrities I do Peanuts Parody tributes to, the song I did for Peter Robbins was an obvious choice. "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor, fits perfectly with Charlie Brown's, and Peter's personalities and outlooks. Charlie Brown may be known as a blockhead, but he will always be there for his friends. A true friend never gives up on anyone else, and that's what Charlie Brown is, a true friend to all, just like Peter Robbins was to me. In most cases, people who voice animated characters tend to be like their respectable characters! Peter Robbins was like an adult version of Charlie Brown, through and through. Yes, he has faced some controversies, but that's not the real man he was. He was a nice and humble man, sadly, he wound up in a bad place for a while in his life. It's a shame that some people can't look past that and see the real him. There have been several different voice actors for Charlie Brown. But, in my opinion, Peter Robbins is, and will always be, the best voice for Charlie Brown. Sure, others do a great job, but Peter nailed it and then some! Peter Robbins, we thank you for everything you have given us in your extraordinary life and career. Your legacy will always be treasured and last forever for all of us to enjoy.
